Happy Honu Shave Ice is owned and operated by a husband and wife team – Desmond & Laura Martin. Laura grew up in Phoenix, AZ and was raised on “Raspados” – Mexican style shave ice desserts. Desmond grew up in Haleiwa, HI where Hawaiian style shave ice was always an “after-da-beach” treat. When we finally came together to realize and integrate our passion for shave ice, we decided to pursue the cra
ft, in hopes of sharing that same happiness with everyone. Our dream is to provide people with the freshest, softest snow, embellished with their choice(s) of their favorite flavors and toppings. Our hope is that while people sit down to relax and enjoy our desserts, that LIFE HAPPENS, and relationships are created and strengthened, and that this world is impacted by LOVE, one person at a time.
