Late night story time…
If you’ve ever met me, you know I’m kind of an awkward person.
But back in my early 20s? It was on a whole different level.
So, I crawled out of the holler (Sandy Hook represent) and made my way to the big city of Ashland. I think I was going to the mall or something.
I decided I was finally going to try Moe’s.
I walked through the front door…
“WELCOME TO MOE’S!!!”
Y’all.
I immediately turned around and walked right back out.
No burrito. No explanation.
It startled me so bad my social anxiety said, “Absolutely not.”
Anyway, I love Moe’s now, and I’d like to formally apologize to whichever employee enthusiastically welcomed me that day. It wasn’t you.
It was 100% me.
