I cannot begin to tell you how happy it makes my heart to see my closest friend in the world teaching at Panola!

Pamela Walker Johnston and I walked into the same kindergarten classroom in Augusta of 1975 and spent 13 years there together until we walked out as seniors in May of 1988.

We are working on a veteran’s/service member display for this year’s banquet. We’d love a picture of any alumnists and staff members in uniform that served in the military to use in the display. If you would just post a pic here or send us one on messager we will print the pictures.

Thank you to all who have served this amazing country on the USA’s 250th birthday!

We need your help! If you are a Panola Alumnist or a former Panola staff member and have a talent for woodwork, beadwork, or something super crafty we’d love to show off a small piece (we’re limited on room) of your work at this year’s banquet.

If you do let us know and we’ll arrange a local pickup.

Also, if you’ve written a book we’d love to display it at the banquet on loan or you could donate a copy we could add to the alumni room’s growing collection.

Help us spread the word.
