After a lot of reflection, I want to share some news with all of you. Acme Chicken Bowls is officially closing its chapter, and we will no longer be operating under the Acme name or serving the Acme menu you came to know.
This was not an easy decision, but it was the right one. Every business goes through seasons, and this one taught me more than I can put into words. It taught me how to show up before the sun came up, how to recover when things did not go to plan, and how to keep going when the only thing pushing me forward was the people who believed in what I was building.
I want to say thank you, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. Thank you to every single person who pulled up to the window, placed an order, and trusted us to feed you and your families. Thank you to the regulars who came back week after week and made this feel like more than a job. Thank you to the friends, neighbors, and strangers who shared posts, tagged friends, left kind reviews, and spread the word when we needed it most. Thank you to the event organizers, market coordinators, and fellow vendors who gave us a place to set up and a community to belong to. Thank you to my family, who carried more than their share so that this dream could keep moving forward. And thank you to the team members and helpers who put in the hours alongside me, often behind the scenes, where the real work happens.
I am not stepping away from food, and I am not stepping away from you. I am stepping into something that feels closer to who I am and where I come from. My next chapter is Mezze Street Kitchen, a Lebanese and Mediterranean food truck rooted in my heritage and built on the same values that carried Acme this far, which are quality, hospitality, and treating every guest like family.
