Kolaches and Coffee

This past week reminded us just how powerful community can be.

Our dear friend, Davis Roethler, has been a friend of our family and a supporter of Kolaches And Coffee in so many ways over the years. Recently, he visited our shop and shared a reel about us—and the response was incredible. For three days, our little shop was packed with people coming in to support us, try our food, enjoy our coffee, and be part of what we have built.

For a local small business, moments like this mean everything.

Small businesses do not grow because of huge advertising budgets or giant corporations behind them. We grow because of people. Because someone tells a friend. Because someone shares a post. Because a family decides to stop at a local shop instead of a national chain.

Our strength is our community.

Kolaches And Coffee is proud to be part of the Overland Park, Leawood, Shawnee, Olathe, and greater Kansas City communities. We live here, we work here, we hire locally, we serve our neighbors, and we are incredibly grateful every time someone chooses to walk through our doors.

Thank you, Davis, for using your voice to support our family and our business. And thank you to every person who came to see us, shared the reel, told a friend, or has supported us along the way.

We also want to encourage everyone to look around your own neighborhood and choose local whenever you can. Visit the family-owned restaurant. Buy from the independent bakery. Stop at the local coffee shop. Support the small businesses that help give our communities their character.

Every purchase is a choice.

So when you can, vote with your money. Vote for your neighbors. Vote for your community. Vote local.
