When one of your loyal customers ask you to whip up some cookies and a cake for her foreign exchange student's 17th birthday, duh you do it!!
Brought a little bit of Italy to Iowa!!
The cake was called torta alla panna or that's what Google said! Sponge style cake soaked with syrup, filled with pudding, covered with whipped icing and topped with fresh strawberries..... and added some edible gold because why not!!
