Born in Tanzania , East Africa, raised in Queens , NY and now living in Orlando , FL. I am a mom of 3 and work outside the house full time. Cooking came to me naturally from a young age of 13, but it's not until I started working that I began to take it on as a challenge. When I began working, I didn't have time to always think of what I'd make for dinner, but it was important for me to make sure

I had fresh food on the table every day for my family. It was with my husband's encouragement that I got over the fear of using the many different spices and ingredients which I use to make my signature dishes today. Cooking a fine meal is no longer a task, but a way of expressing my pleasure and appreciation to those I serve and it's a great way for me to unwind!
