Planning Disney AND Universal in the same vacation sounds easy enough…until you actually start doing it. 😅
Which resort? How many days at each destination? Is Express Pass worth the cost? Should you pay for it separately or stay at a Universal resort where it’s included? Which Disney resort makes the most sense? Dining plan or no dining plan? And how do you fit it all together without blowing the vacation budget?
Those are exactly the kinds of decisions I’ve been working through with the E family for their upcoming Orlando vacation.
Their trip will include a stay at Universal’s Stella Nova Resort with time at Universal Studios Florida and Epic Universe, followed by a stay at Disney’s Pop Century Resort and two days in the Walt Disney World parks. 🎢🏰
But getting them booked wasn’t just a matter of finding a hotel and clicking “reserve.”
We compared Disney resorts and promotional rates. We looked at Stella Nova versus a higher-level Universal resort with included Express. We talked through whether Express makes sense during a busy travel week. We considered dining, transportation, airfare, park days and how much they actually want to accomplish with younger kids.
And when additional family members decided they might like to come along? We coordinated their reservations too.
This is the part of using a Travel Advisor that people don’t always see.
You don’t have to spend weeks opening 37 browser tabs trying to figure out which combination makes the most sense. You tell me how your family wants to vacation, what matters to you and what you’re comfortable spending. Then we work through the options together.
The E family now has their Disney + Universal vacation on the books, and I’ll be here to help with the next round of decisions as their trip gets closer.
If Disney, Universal or a combination of both is on your family’s wish list for 2027, send me a message. We can make the planning a whole lot less overwhelming.
