It was a real pleasure to support the The Children's Inn at NIH at their Innvitational. The Inn reduces the burden of illness, makes childhood possible, and advances research being done at the NIH. Olney Chick Friends…WE HAVE A PROBLEM. It is with a heavy heart (and extreme levels of frustration 😤) that we have to tell you we are delaying our grand opening. To open, we need power, which we hoped to have by now and have patiently waited and repeatedly escalated through every possible channel (thank you Olney Chamber of Commerce and our council member Dawn Leudtke and staff Aaron Kraut 🤛🏻) to no avail. At this point, we are being told mid- October is our revised opening day target. 🎯 Again, we HATE to do this, and we are as disappointed as you. Alas, we need power to give you the Chicken Salad Chick experience you deserve. Thank you as always for your enthusiastic support. We WILL OPEN…just (much) later than we had hoped.
