🍽️ Shared Plates Honest Takes — First Review

We officially kicked off our first Shared Plates Honest Takes review at The Salt Republic, and it truly set the bar high for what a dining experience should be.
✨ Atmosphere:
Warm, inviting, and effortlessly elevated — the perfect setting for date night or an evening spent lingering over great food and conversation.
🍴 What We Ordered:
• Burrata Toast (Appetizer)
• SR Rotisserie Chicken
• Apple Crisp (Dessert)
⭐ Honest Takes:
From the moment we arrived, the experience stood out. Since we typically share all of our plates, the kitchen went above and beyond by thoughtfully splitting our meal and serving it as what looked like two beautifully plated entrées. It was such a gracious touch and immediately made the experience feel personalized.
The Burrata Toast was fresh and flavorful, with the apple cherry relish adding an incredible balance of sweetness and brightness to every bite. While delicious, the appetizer did feel priced higher than expected.
The SR Rotisserie Chicken was the true standout — perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, warm, and comforting in the best way. Every bite felt intentional and satisfying.
To finish, the Apple Crisp was the perfect ending to the meal. Not overly heavy, just the right portion, and beautifully balanced in flavor.
❤️ Service & Experience:
Our waiter and waitress were truly next level. Attentive, welcoming, and genuinely invested in creating a great experience — their service elevated the entire evening. Even the details didn’t go unnoticed, including clean and well-maintained washrooms that reflected the restaurant’s overall pride in presentation.

The Salt Republic delivers more than just great food — it delivers hospitality. Thoughtful service, flavorful dishes, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer.
