Hey everyone,
We just wanted to be real with you about what’s going on with our opening.
When we picked up our brand-new coffee trailer, we expected the usual startup stuff—permits, inspections, licensing, all of that. We were ready for that part and figured that’s what would take the most time before opening.
What we didn’t expect was issues with the trailer itself.
We started out thinking we were dealing with a few small warranty fixes, which already wasn’t ideal for something brand new. But once repairs started, more issues kept showing up that we couldn’t see at first.
As it’s been taken apart and checked over more, we’ve run into bigger concerns with things like the structure, welding, and electrical work—things that really shouldn’t be an issue on a professionally built unit.
Because of that, we’ve had to pause everything for now so we can make sure everything is safe and done the right way before we open.
It’s definitely not what we planned and it’s been frustrating after getting so close, but safety for us and everyone who walks up to the window comes first.
We’re working through it step by step and we’ll keep you updated as we go. We really appreciate everyone’s patience and support 🤍
Brunchies Cafe is still coming—we’re just making sure it’s done right before we serve our first cup.
