We want to give a huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by and supported us at the Logan County Fair — we had a blast and loved seeing all your smiling faces! 💛🍧

The shack is now back at the pool, and we’re ready to serve up your favorites again. We’ll be open tonight from 7–9 PM, and then back to regular hours and our full menu going forward. Come cool off with us!

We’ll be open every night during fair from 7 PM to 11 PM, serving up your favorite sno cones under the fair lights! 🌙✨

Did you know the Sno Shack has been part of the Logan County Fair for over 15 years? It’s a hometown tradition—locally owned and run by Haylie (15) and Layton (11), two young entrepreneurs keeping the sweet summer vibes alive! 💙🍓🍋

Sno Cone History! See us today from 2 - 5 and from 7 - 9!!

🍧 Samuel Bert: The Sno Cone King of Texas

Samuel “King Sammie” Bert was an inventive Texan who helped transform the simple idea of flavored ice into a beloved American treat.

🔧 The Invention

In 1919, Bert designed and built one of the first ice-crushing machines specifically for making sno cones. This was a game-changer — before that, ice had to be crushed by hand, which was time-consuming and inconsistent. Bert’s machine could quickly produce finely crushed ice, perfect for soaking up flavored syrups.

🎡 State Fair of Texas Fame

Samuel Bert introduced his sno cones to the public at the State Fair of Texas in Dallas. His icy creations became an instant hit with fairgoers, who were eager for a refreshing, affordable treat during the hot Texas fall!
