It’s always fun to be challenged when baking. I did a pastel tres leches de nuez y crema pastelera de nuez or in other words….walnut tres leches with walnut pastry cream cake for a friend. Hopefully it’s like she and her boyfriend remember from their youth.
The last photo is the small version that I was able to make for me (it was a great midnight snack) and share with coworkers.

In today’s edition of shenanigans with Aspen and Kodai…
Aspen found a new tree to roll around under while Kodai stood guard because there was a dog walking through thu his park (how dare they!). He finally decided to join in for a brief moment of frivolity.
Tonight Kodai is finally tired out and sleeping while Aspen and I enjoy the Great British Baking Show.

What do you do at 4am when the dogs keep you awake? You take pics of snickerdoodles and package up cookies for orders!
