🍫 super moist fudgy chocolate cake
ultra rich, intensely chocolatey, and incredibly moist
soft melt-in-your-mouth crumb with fudgy texture
Ingredients
for the cake
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 3/4 cups flour
3/4 cup cocoa powder
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup hot coffee
for the ganache
200g dark chocolate
3/4 cup heavy cream
Procedure
Preheat the oven to 175°C.
Grease and line two 8-inch cake pans.
Whisk eggs and sugar until smooth.
Add oil, milk, and vanilla.
Mix well.
Add flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda.
Mix until combined.
Slowly pour in hot coffee.
Stir until the batter is smooth.
Divide batter between pans.
Bake for 30–35 minutes.
Cool completely.
Heat cream until steaming.
Pour over chopped chocolate.
Let sit for 2 minutes.
Stir until smooth and glossy.
Spread ganache between cake layers.
Cover the entire cake with ganache.
Chill for 20 minutes.
Slice and serve.
