for the cake

2 eggs

3/4 cup cocoa powder
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup hot coffee

for the ganache

200g dark chocolate
3/4 cup heavy cream

Procedure

Preheat the oven to 175°C.

Grease and line two 8-inch cake pans.

Whisk eggs and sugar until smooth.

Add oil, milk, and vanilla.

Mix well.

Add flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda.

Mix until combined.

Slowly pour in hot coffee.

Stir until the batter is smooth.

Divide batter between pans.

Bake for 30–35 minutes.

Cool completely.

Heat cream until steaming.

Pour over chopped chocolate.

Ingredients

1 kg chicken pieces

for the marinade

2 cups buttermilk
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder

for the coating

2 cups flour
1 tbsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp dried oregano

for frying

oil for deep frying

Procedure

Mix buttermilk, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

Add chicken pieces.

Cover and marinate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Mix all coating ingredients in a large bowl.

Remove chicken from the marinade.

Coat each piece thoroughly in the flour mixture.

Dip briefly back into the marinade.

Coat again in the flour mixture for extra crunch.

Let coated chicken rest for 10 minutes.

Heat oil to 170°C.

1 tsp baking powder

for the filling

750g quark or cream cheese
3 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup milk
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp lemon juice

Procedure

Preheat the oven to 170°C.

Grease and line a 24cm springform pan.

Mix flour, sugar, butter, egg, and baking powder.

Knead into a soft dough.

Press the dough into the bottom and up the sides of the pan.

Beat quark, sugar, eggs, cream, milk, cornstarch, vanilla, and lemon juice until smooth.

Pour filling into the crust.

Bake for 55–65 minutes until the top is lightly golden and the center is slightly set.

Turn off the oven and leave the cake inside with the door slightly open for 15 minutes.

Cool completely.

Procedure

Procedure
