Atappe’s name is inspired from the Malay language meaning roof, likes its name, Atappe revolutionizes our everyday home items and redefine it into modern art. Established in Des Moines, Iowa, in 2015, Atappe’s vision is to integrate science, technology, art, design and sustainable energy into a contemporary lifestyle with an emphasis on environmental friendliness. Yi Liang Yew, our company’s cofounder on Atappe, “Our everyday items does not have to be known only from its traditional way. We make our own traditions and I see our products as that.” On why this company has motivated him to change “We see too many imperfections in life and we see an opportunity for a change” he says.
