Well established catering hall looking for staff to cover following positions:
Maitre D
-Oversee waitstaff
-Oversee guests
-Guide customers to tables
-Answer customer questions
-Manage customer complaints and concerns
Decorator
-Do centerpieces and balloon and flower arches
-Coordinate design needs with clients
-Develop decorative plans
-Install and arrange decorations
-Set up tables, sashes and runners
-Manage budgets and schedules
Waiters/Waitresses/Bartenders-Part Time
-Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet area.
-Relay food and beverage orders.
-Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices.
-Anticipate guests’ needs and exceed customer service expectations.
-Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
-Present in professional appearance and mannerisms.
Porter-Part Time
-Clean whole hall
-Mopping floor
-Breaking down tables and chairs
-Putting out furniture for next days events
-Take out garbage
-Clean bathrooms
-Ensure sidewalk area is clean infront of property
Security Guard-Part Time
-Patrolling and monitoring activities on the premises regularly to ensure the environment is safe and secure
-Evicting trespassers and violators and detaining perpetrators while following legal protocols before relevant authorities arrive to take over
-Controlling the entrance and departure of clientele during parties
Operations Manager-Full Time
-Wedding, Social & Corporate and Catering Sales
-Event Planning, Coordinate event details with clients once the contract is signed
-Meet with clients for additional walk-throughs to finalize event details, floor plan etc.
-Assist with continual up-selling of client and event throughout the working relationship
-Work with all event vendors, including: florist, rental company, DJ, photographers etc.
-Work with each venue's operations team on all event preparation
-Perform day to day sales operation & answerable to client questions/concerns etc.
-Responsible for Executing Events on the day of the event as an Event Coordinator or manager.
-Manage waitstaff during events
