What's in a name?

Growing up in Ala"Bama" and moving to Minne"Sota" after college provide me with a unique take on BBQ. So BamaSota BBQ has evolved into what I feel is a true representation of Southern, slow cooked, wood fired meats and sides.

Hello Everyone!

We will be changing our business model for 2025. Our family will be focusing more on private catering and less on public vending at events. Rest assured we are still here and ready to serve the best Southern BBQ to you and your family!

With that we are now booking for 2025, weddings, grad parties or other celebrations! Feel free to reach out for more information or a quote!

ONE WEEK TO GO! … NEXT SATURDAY is the HOPS FOR HOPE Fundraiser for ALS and FTD – We hope you can join us for a great time on September 7 from 1-8pm at the spacious Next Chapter Winery in New Prague. Help us raise critical funds to find the cures for FTD and ALS. We’ll be featuring delicious food from Pizzeria 201 and BamaSota BBQ food trucks, along with live music, cool drinks (wine, beer, and more), and a huge silent auction!
