I know I've been a little MIA on this page lately, but don't worry... I've definitely still been thinking about baking.

Now that fall is peeking around the corner (yes, I know it's still 9,000° outside 😂), it's time for me to start planning the fall menu!

So I need your help...

What fall flavors are you hoping to see this season? Pumpkin? Apple? Caramel? Maple? Pecan? Something completely different?

And if I made your favorite treat last year, tell me what absolutely has to make a comeback!

🍪 Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies are happening tonight.

I’m baking a batch for church tomorrow, and if you’ve ever wanted fresh-from-the-oven cookies from my kitchen… this is your moment.

I’m only making extras if they’re spoken for while the oven’s on. Once the dough is portioned, that’s it.

Standard size or thick palm-sized bakery style — you choose.

I haven’t posted in a bit. Life’s been… life.
But my kitchen is still my therapy.
So here’s a baking tip that will instantly make anything taste like you know what you’re doing:

Brown. Your. Butter.

Let it melt. Let it foam. Let it turn golden with little toasty bits at the bottom.

That nutty, caramel smell? That’s flavor you didn’t pay extra for.

Works in cookies. Muffins. Frosting. Even pancakes.

If it smells like heaven and looks slightly risky — you did it right.

Hey friends.

I’ve been quieter than usual here, and I wanted to share a little context instead of just popping back up like nothing happened.

The end of 2025 hit hard. Losing my dad turned everything upside down, and while I was trying to catch my breath and take care of family, life kept life-ing - including car issues that showed up right as the new year started.

I stepped back because I needed to. Grief, logistics, and real life all demanded attention at once, and something had to give for a bit.

As we step into 2026, I’m doing what I’ve always done - showing up, rebuilding, and creating with my hands. Baking has always been more than a business for me; it’s how I steady myself and how I provide for my family, especially in seasons like this.

Thank you for the patience, kindness, and quiet support. Truly.
Wishing you all a hopeful, gentler start to 2026. I’m easing back in - and more goodness is coming. 🤍

I’ve been a little quieter here than usual and wanted to thank you for your patience. I needed to step away briefly for a family matter, and I truly appreciate the grace and understanding during that time.
