My 2nd and 3 batches of beef tallow. Wet rendered 5 times. The jars will be for cooking/baking/soap/candles and the plastic containers will be for skin care products.
We have been cooking with a jar from my 1st batch. Tastes great and sooo much healthier.

* Tallow is a healthy fat because it provides both saturated and monounsaturated fats, with about 40-50% monounsaturated fats, which are considered heart-healthy.
* Reduces inflammation – tallow contains conjugated linoleic acid, which is a natural anti-inflammatory.
* May help protect the body from infection – one of the fatty acids in beef tallow – palmitoleic acid – possesses fantastic antimicrobial properties, which may help to ward off infections.
* Saturated fats, a significant component of beef tallow, are pivotal in hormone production. Hormones are vital messengers that regulate various physiological processes, from metabolism to mood. Consuming adequate saturated fats, as found in beef tallow, contributes to maintaining a healthy hormonal balance.
* Tallow's natural collagen-boosting properties enhance skin elasticity, leading to plump and rejuvenated skin.
* Tallow contains vitamins A, D, E, and K, which help to nourish and strengthen the hair, promoting healthy growth and preventing breakage and split ends. Another benefit of tallow shampoo is that it is incredibly gentle on the hair and scalp.

Our last baby ( #8) of 2024 came as a surprise today. This little one is our 2nd long horn baby. We are in love ❤️.
We don't know if it is a boy or girl yet.
So far, 2 boys and 5 girls. Hoping this luvbug is a boy but will love it just the same either way.
