❤️PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO READ A VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM US❤️
October is a really special month for our family and our little business. It marks 3 years of Bear & Boards and the start of our busy holiday season, our sweet Sofia turning 7, and Mike and I celebrating 19 years together. ❤️
So it’s hard to share that, instead, October will also bring a temporary closing for Bear & Boards.
Our current commissary space is no longer going to be available to us, making October 11th our last day of operations as we search for our new spot.
We’d be lying if we said this hasn’t been challenging and unexpected. Bear & Boards is something Mike and I built together, while raising our family and figuring it all out along the way. It means so much more to us than just a business. It’s a piece of our family a livelihood, and we’ve worked incredibly hard to get it to where it is today.
But we also know that sometimes the plans you make for your business and your life change unexpectedly. So instead of seeing this as the goodbye, we’re choosing to see it as a new chapter.
If you’d like to support Bear & Boards before we temporarily stop orders/bookings until further notice, here are a few ways you can help❤️
-Place an order and enjoy!
-Book our charcuterie cart/Grazing Table for your upcoming event before October 11th
-Share our posts with your friends and family
-Tag someone who has supported us or would love Bear & Boards Charcuterie
-If you know of a commissary kitchen, shared kitchen, or small business that may be willing to partner with us, PLEASE send them our way. Even a connection or a lead could make a huge difference for our family and our business.
And while we’re busy figuring out our next move, we’re also working on new ways to expand what Bear & Boards can offer without a commissary kitchen. 👀🐻
We have some really fun ideas in the works, and we can’t wait to share more with you soon.
Thank you for every order, every referral, every class, every event, every share, and every person who has supported Bear & Boards over these past 3 years.
We’re a small family business with a big dream, and we’re not giving up on it.
Bear & Boards isn’t going anywhere. We’re just taking a little detour while we figure out what’s next. ❤️🐻🧀
