Thank you so much to everyone that made it out today!!! I am so grateful!!!! For every share, comment and like as well, you would be so surprised how small gestures like that can be a huge blessing for a business. 😭
When I was in prayer yesterday God kept putting on my heart “be still”. I already knew and understood the concept but decided to look into it even more and learned that the Hebrew word “raphah” translates to “be still” and means to let go, sink, relax or drop one’s grip. That made perfect sense because I tend to start my goals in prayer, but as soon as things take off I start relying on my own works and strength and lose my way. I have a really bad habit of setting unrealistic goals and then feeling disappointed with myself when I’m not meeting them instead of appreciating the journey, the blessings and trusting in his plan.
I wasn’t sure if I was ever going to share the struggles of trying to run a business with my disorders, but felt like God has been too good to me to keep quiet. 17 years ago I struggled so bad that I had doctors strongly encouraging me to apply for disability because of my inability to keep a job with my anxiety and depression. Even though I still struggle, I am so proud that I kept going, kept getting back up and didn’t get permanently discouraged. I know if I can be used anyone can.
Today we raised 40% of the money for the oven. 😁
Sunday we have the Bridgerton Tea Party and popup and I will also be back again this weekend (updated, Saturday @4:00!)
Thank you again so much for coming out and supporting this journey.
