The key to staying gluten-free during the holidays is to be prepared. Cook and bake your food ahead of time if possible, or buy prepackaged food you know is safe. If someone else will be cooking for you, discuss their ingredients, recipes, and plans for avoiding cross-contact in advance of Christmas to ensure the meal will be safe.
