Yesterday’s Pass the Plate marked a special moment as Chef officially passed the residency torch to Chef . What an incredible month it has been—filled with new friendships, unforgettable flavors, inspiring conversations, and countless memories created around the table.

A huge shoutout to Chef , who somehow makes the impossible look easy, orchestrating a complete kitchen transformation and menu change overnight as one residency ends and another begins.
Now we turn the page to June, and we couldn’t be more excited.

From the South Side of Chicago to Napa Valley — please welcome Chef Lamar Moore to the June Residency of ROTATION by Feast It Forward. 🔥🍷

Cooking from the soul isn’t just a phrase for Chef Lamar Moore — it’s the foundation of his story. Inspired by his grandmother’s Southern roots and raised in a large Chicago family where food meant love, care, and community, Chef Lamar has spent decades turning passion into purpose.

A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu, Lamar’s culinary journey has taken him from San Jose to Chicago, from cooking for the Chicago Bears to serving at Super Bowls, NBA Finals, and even for Barack & Michelle Obama. Along the way, he’s become a celebrated chef, restaurateur, television personality, and champion of soulful hospitality.

You may recognize him from Chopped, Beat Bobby Flay, Vegas Chef Prizefight, and his award-winning run leading the iconic Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse in Las Vegas. More recently, he’s brought his talents to Bronzeville Winery, Etc. Chicago, and exciting new projects on the horizon for Summer 2026.

But beyond the accolades, Chef Lamar believes food is about connection — bringing people together, feeding from the heart, uplifting your team, and never losing humility along the way.
