Some people walk into your life for a reason, and I truly believe God sent Esmeralda into mine ❤️
Long before we took over Liquid Leaf, Esmeralda and the Wednesday Ladies were already making this place special. They built friendships here, created memories here, and helped create the sense of community that existed long before we arrived.
When we became the new owners, stepping into an already established community felt exciting but also intimidating. As the new people coming in, we didn’t know what to expect. But Esmeralda was one of the very first people who welcomed me with open arms and made me feel like I belonged.
What started as a customer relationship quickly became something so much deeper.
This business has come with challenges that many people don’t see behind the scenes — the stress, the sleepless nights, the pressure, and moments where I questioned if I was strong enough to keep going. There were moments I was sobbing on the phone, overwhelmed, and Esmeralda stayed. She listened. She prayed over us. She reminded me to lean into faith and helped guide us toward doing what’s right, even when things felt impossible.
She became my spiritual sister ❤️
In a world that sometimes feels disconnected, people like Esmeralda remind me what community truly means. It’s not just coffee. It’s not just matcha. It’s people showing up for each other. It’s kindness during hard seasons. It’s support when someone is struggling. It’s friendship turning into family.
God knew exactly who I needed during this season of my life.
