So many of you do not know. But we had a friend who got married last weekend. And they wanted to do something different for their wedding favors. And they asked me to make 4oz jams for their wedding. I made 3dz based on their favorite fruit profiles. And then I made roughly 3dz of my more popular flavors.

They were a HUGE hit!

So if your looking for something simple to use as any type of party favor feel free to reach out.

I am happy to let you sample some flavors that involve your favorite combos. Or we can work on making something special for your personal palette.

Never a dull day here on the Homestead. Blackberries are starting to ripen, I restocked Pickled Onions today. And I’m working on restocking Cookie mix jars. There are some more jams that need restocking. I am working on getting all the supplies for them.

Reminder that if you bring me empty jars you get $1 for every jar you bring.

As long as weather permits will for sure be @ the Madison historical society farmers market tomorrow 8/4 from 2-6pm as well as Oneida Castle Food Truck Celebration on Thursday 8/6 from 4-8pm and Sunday 8/9 I will be attending Small business bingo at the Canastota Legion!

Ok guys. Fairs over. Here are the results of my jam/jelly and canned goods entries. I entered 8 items in 7 categories. And won 5 first places, 2 second places and 1 third place I need to find a way to display all these in/at my tent/booth.

Dropped 8 jams/jellies off at the Madison county fair this morning! For a possible total of 7 wins. And some canned pears for possibly an 8th win. We shall see in a few days. Fingers crossed!!

I got 3 firsts last year and a 2nd. So let’s see what happens this year.
