The Mill Street Tavern takes its place along the banks of historic Shem Creek with beautiful views of local marshes, the Ravenel Bridge and boaters sailing by. Housed near the site of the first tidal Mill in the world, the Greenwich Mill, patrons will see a recreated mill as they approach the restaurant. The Main Dining Room boasts wall to wall windows viewing Shem Creek and period mill artifacts

throughout. The octagonal Lounge & Veranda offer a unique combination of indoor and outdoor space with big screen TVs and a covered wraparound porch with picturesque views of the creek. The Roof Deck has a full service bar with TVs, a dedicated Sushi Bar and uninterrupted top floor views of Shem Creek and beyond. Our menu features Sushi, Raw Bar, Seafood, Burgers and Sandwiches, in addition to shareable Snacks, Wings, Salads and Entrees. We are proud to partner with many local Low Country purveyors to provide the best possible ingredients, including Shem Creek’s own Tarvin Seafood, Geechie Boy Mill in Edisto and Anson Mills in Columbia.
