🐄💜 The Chubby Cow is taking a Moo-cation! 🌴

We'll be closed until the end of next week as we celebrate our daughter's 18th birthday and high school graduation with family and friends.

Thank you for understanding while we enjoy this special time together. We can't wait to get back to feeding the herd!

🐄🍔 WHY DOES FOOD TRUCK FOOD COST MORE THAN FAST FOOD? 🍔🐄

Great question!

Every morning we wake up and feed our food truck:

⛽ Gas
🔥 Propane
🛢️ Fryer oil
🥩 Beef
🥓 Bacon
🧀 Cheese
🥤 Drinks
📦 Boxes and containers
💳 Credit card fees
🧽 Cleaning supplies
🧾 Licenses and permits
🔧 Repairs when something decides to quit working at the worst possible time

And here's the kicker...

📈 Food costs don't stay the same.

Every time we turn around:

🥩 Beef goes up.
🥓 Bacon goes up.
🧀 Cheese goes up.
🛢️ Fryer oil goes up.
📦 Packaging goes up.

The only thing that doesn't seem to go up is our desire to keep prices low for our customers. 😂

Trust us, we don't wake up in the morning and say, "You know what sounds fun? Charging more for burgers today."

We raise prices only when we absolutely have to because every extra dollar on the menu is usually because it cost us extra dollars to put that food in your hands.

We're not a billion-dollar corporation buying truckloads of ingredients at wholesale prices. We're a small, local food truck buying ingredients at today's prices and doing our best to keep serving food that's piled high and worth every bite.

Could we make our food cheaper?

Sure.

We could use lower-quality ingredients, cut portions, and stop loading everything up.

But then it wouldn't be Chubby Cow.

Around here, we believe if you're spending your hard-earned money with us, your burger should be BIG, your footlong should be LOADED, and your stomach should leave happier than it arrived.

Because at Chubby Cow, we don't do "just enough."

We do BIG FLAVOR. BIGGER APPETITE. 🐄🍔🌭

So we decided to help.

Meet The Hater Special™

🌭 The Hater Dog – $3
🥪 The Hater Bologna Sandwich – $4

What's on them?

The Hater Dog:
🌭 One hot dog.
🍞 One bun.

The Hater Bologna Sandwich:
🥪 One slice of fried bologna.
🍞 Two slices of bread.

That's it.

No bacon.
No cheese.
No nacho cheese.
No Moo Sauce.
No onion rings.
No loaded toppings.

Just the basics... and maybe a side of opinions. 😂

Around here, our loaded items are piled high because good ingredients cost money, and we're a small, local food truck—not a billion-dollar corporation.
