My granddaughter wanted a pumpkin cake for her 4th birthday and what Mazzy wants, Mazzy gets!

Cake is a vanilla sponge cake with vanilla swiss meringue buttercream, stem is rice crispies with vanilla buttercream

I left a little surprise for mazzy, I put sprinkles and candy in the middle so when she cut into her cake they poured out!

Sushi cake and cookies for a birthday! I wasnt to happy with the cookies but I did made the cookies and cake the night before and stayed up all night to get these done.
Cake was vanilla with strawberry compote filling with vanilla swiss buttercream. Homeade marshmallow fondant and coconut flakes to look like rice on the top of cake. The sushi on the bottom of the cake is rice crispies with fondant and royal icing to look like rice.

Cookies were sugar cookies with vanilla royal icing.

I cant wait to try this theme again when I have more time to work on it.

I did this 2 tier cake, I was nervous working with pink and black, I am a fondant person, but I thank Michael Brought Plenty for challenging me with all buttercream designs! LOL!
