It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the passing of our dear friend, Michael Manhan. Our handy-man and the ultimate fix-it guy, Michael was truly a member of our Big Dipper family.
For over 25 years, our staff would recognize his iconic truck and suspenders waiting in line, and have his Quake Shake ready when he got to the window. He received many emergency texts from us for fixes around the shop and on the ice cream truck, and would always show up ready to solve whatever problem we were having. His friendly smile and cheerful demeanor would turn around any bad day. He was truly the best, most caring person we could ever have rooting for us, and our hearts are with his family and friends.
Michael's family will be celebrating and remembering Michael this Saturday the 17th, at our Higgins location at 3pm. We encourage everyone who loved him to stop by and share a story with us.
