I LOVE Butter Cake, but our October Pie of the Month "Butter Cake", is about more than just a delicious dessert. It holds a very special place in my heart! Our last grandchild's arrival was revealed to us at our favorite restaurant in Utah over their amazing butter cake and ice cream, with an ultrasound picture tucked right into the ice cream! Sweetest surprise ever! Naturally, we had to bring that same sweetness to PIEfection for your enjoyment!

Our Butter Cake has a buttery, crispy crust and a rich, gooey, melt-in-your mouth center. It's nostalgic, indulgent and absolutely worth breaking all the pie rules for!
