MEET THE JUDGES: Ben Cole III

Ben currently serves as owner and Insurance Agent for Alfa Insurance Ellisville. Ben is a familiar face in Jones County and shows his love for Jones County in a variety of ways. Ben is a member of the Laurel Kiwanis club and enjoys flipping pancakes at the annual Kiwanis Pancake Day. EDA of Jones County Board Member, Deacon, and Sunday School teacher at Mt. Pleasant church in SOSO.

He is also known in the community as “Coach Ben” as he Coaches Youth basketball for the Shady Grove Eagles and with the MS Magnolia Heat travel organization. You can also catch Ben serving as a Referee/Game official in MHSAA high school Football and Basketball games and MACCC JUCO Football and Women’s Basketball official.

Ben is married to his lovely wife Monica and has 2 kids Lindsey, and Ben IV.

Come meet us tomorrow at mendenhall in May. We got these competition style prime briskets that are getting much love . What is competition style food? We buy the best and cook with the best products as if we are competing in a competition . The only difference? You get to be the judge !!! So come on out we will have sliced briskets, ribs, loaded mashed taters, our southern slaw, and our delicious brisket baked beans covered in our home made bbq sauce.

Rock Brothers will be at Mendenhall in May Saturday May 20th for a BBQ competition. We will also be selling rib and brisket plates from 11 a.m. until! Come out and grab you some great food!
