Are you familiar with the coffee production process? This week is a very important week in production as it is coffee flowering season. The blooming of flowers on coffee plants is the first step of a year-long journey. It is at this point in the season when our farmers can determine their potential productivity for the upcoming season. The flowers subsequently develop into coffee fruits. Here's to hoping for a great season for all of our farmers!

. Meet Newton Openheimer Beraldo and his father. The Beraldo family acquired their beautiful farm in 1999 and have dedicated themselves to producing specialty coffees ever since. When they first came into the coffee market in the early 2000s, speciality coffees weren't favorable but their passion for producing and strong family principles kept them firm to their goal- to produce speciality coffees. We are honored to have hard working partners like the Beraldo family.

. Meet Mauricio Coutinho Borges and his wife Wanda (aka "the boss"). Bruno and Eduardo had the pleasure of spending some time with two of them on their farm and even had the opportunity to have some fresh coffee served by Wanda! The two started out as sharecroppers in 1995 and then bought their own property in 2003. Mauricio and Wanda are always striving to produce the best coffees. They started selective harvesting which allowed them to raise their coffee quality. They currently hold three coffee certifications: Certifica Minas, Rainforest Alliance and Orgânico do Sul de Minas. These certificates bring important recognition to their coffees! We are honored to have them as our partners.

We take pride in our Traceability process. We focus on specialty coffees from a single origin. Through a thorough process, we track each harvest, from planting to conducting the crop, harvesting, drying, storage, and preparation, until the moment of shipment and final destination. This thorough process allows us to produce unique and special coffees.

. Allow us to introduce you to the amazing Meireomar! Meire produces a coffee with a citrus and sweet taste, which has already reached 87 test points (this is BIG in the coffee world!). When she is not tending to her coffee plantations, Meire is running a convenience store in the country and acting as an advisor to her colleagues. She is a huge advocate for women and encourages other women to do what they love. Meire is such a special partner and we are so pleased to work with her!

Being around people like Luis Carlos make it impossible not to fall in love with, not only his coffee, but also his passion. The Nossa Senhora da Aparecida Estate is located at an altitude of 1,255 meters in the Sul de Minas Gerais Region, providing for beautifully unique varieties.
