Tattooed Rooster is our way of bringing that exceptional flavor to everyone. We're Joe and Nicole and our story started with a shared love of music, tattoos, and, of course, coffee. We met over coffee, and our bond grew stronge
r with every cup. Our journey began with a first date at a coffee shop, followed by a concert at a coffee house, and eventually led to our wedding in, you guessed it, a coffee shop. We even volunteered our time to install tile for a local, non-profit coffee shop in our town a few years ago. Coffee has been a central part of our story from the start, and now we’re sharing our passion with the world through every bag we roast. As for our name, Tattooed Rooster was inspired by our shared love for Alice in Chains and the song Rooster, which symbolizes resilience, power, and the spirit of pushing through tough times. The “tattooed” part reflects the full tattoo sleeves that tell our own story, just like each cup of our coffee tells a unique story of flavor and craftsmanship. Tattooed Rooster is more than just great coffee—it’s about creating a community of dreamers, creators, and individuals who value connection, authenticity, and resilience.
