It’s easy to forget…

that coffee comes from fruit.

On average, it takes nearly three years for a coffee plant to mature and produce its sweet, ripened cherries. The plants rely on a delicate balance of humidity, rainfall, shade, elevation, and care to truly thrive.

And when the season is kind, we’re gifted the plant’s ruby-red fruit — holding within it the seed we’ve come to cherish.
