Well if you were here on Saturday you already know, it went terrible! 🔥🔥
We are so very sorry!
We we’re sorely understaffed to say the least.
I have not even been able to think of Saturday without the biggest lump in my throat and wanting to cry.
I am so embarrassed.
We ran out of biscuits and gravy 3 times!
We ran out of coffee mugs over and over.
Probably out of coffee at the tables. 😢
I was to busy trying to save the kitchen I could not correct the front of house.
A lady and her children came in with what looked to be most of her belonging crying uncontrollably. I wanted to hug her and her babies, I also wanted to set next to her and cry.
But our customers are amazing!!
There was not an open table in the house. A man and woman not only gave up their table, but gave up their breakfast for this family.
Later, the same gentleman came back to see if there was any remaining bill. I then learned that gentleman at another table paid for their drinks. And that that family had left with him because he was going to help them.
I don’t know that if we had not had such a mess and wait going on at the restaurant that those people would’ve been in place to help that woman and her children.
So as I set here with tears in my eyes asking for Grace and Mercy and another chance at the restaurant! I know that God remains the same….
His word says that all things work for the good for those who love him and walk according to his purpose.
So even though the biscuits and gravy were a flop that day, HE still worked it out for the good.
Jeramiah 29:11
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
I don’t know the couple that gave up their table and breakfast.
I don’t know the gentleman who bought the drinks and helped the family afterwards. I do not know the the woman or her children.
I DO know God knows each and every one of them. He is so very mindful and nothing is a coincidence!
I want to thank those customers that helped that family!
Thank you!
I want to thank those customers who were not rude or angry to my waitresses.
I want to thank my customers that still paid after waiting an hour for their food.
I want to apologize to you.
So sorry and thank you so very much!
If you’re still with me… if you were there that Saturday, please let my staff know. We have something for you if you decide to come in again and we hope you do!
I also want to thank my staff, Angie,Billy, Catelyn and Tyra!
They to could have walked out but they hung in there! Thank you!
