Happy Fall! It's been awhile since I popped in here! We have been focusing on our Airline Catering and Charcuterie Grazing Tables, but I think we are over due for a little pop-up! And what better time than Fall and Football!
This will be located at The American Legion where we have been using their kitchen and absolutely loving it! I will pick a date sometime in October, so you will be able to plan ahead and order!
Since I am no longer located in the Village, I have been having trouble finding a spot to do the Haunted History Tours this year and it just doesn't seem right to not do anything, after all, this is my season! I may be planning something after Halloween so I will keep everyone posted, and a new place, means new stories and tales of the past!
Sometimes I get personal on here and I am told no one wants to hear this, but I think it's part of who I am and how I have built my businesses. Keeping it real keeps me connected to my customers in a way that makes us realize it's okay for us all to be human. And if I am being honest, the past two years since having my son I have struggled to get back to feeling normal. We have also experienced a lot of unexpected loss over the last 8 months. I feel sometimes my orders are rushed, I am not as good as I used to be when it comes to getting back to people, especially lately, and sometimes wish I had the energy to do more pop ups and such.
With that being said, I have decided to go back to school in the late fall. This does not prevent me from catering, but has given me a new spark and something exciting to look forward too. As a multi passionate entrepreneur, I think life gives us many years if we are lucky, and we should always continue to try new things, learn and grow. This will NOT affect our business, but it may make me a little less available during certain times. I am VERY excited about this new adventure though and it's path I don't think a lot of people will see coming hehe.
I recently had the pleasure of doing my first open mic comedy show and I met some wonderful people. (Insert picture of me and Doug Embledge HAHA!) This experience taught me that we have some amazing people in our community and that even professionals struggle with stage fright, hard life experiences and more. If you ever need someone to talk to, reaching out to a trusted friend, family member, or a local support organization can make a difference. Our community has people who care. And so do we =)
I look forward to the upcoming Holiday season and putting together some yummy sandwiches and treats for everyone, so we will see you soon! Thanks for following us and for all the opportunities you have given our wonderful small business over the last 4 years!
