Everyday I learned something new.
For whom caving for fried rice and not supposed to have rice. We have a solution here Kwong Tung Chop Suey we make brown rice in house with chicken broth everyday and it is on our menu. Usually we only sell it for brown rice itself. But one customer came in for dinner and ask if we can make fried rice with brown rice. I said I don’t see why not. And it turned out better than I thought. Looks so yummy and he enjoyed it a lot.

I can’t wait to share this good news with all of you (my customers).

It has been 9 months since we took over the business. And we received the best rating Chinese of 2026 in Shelby TWP.

I really appreciated every single one of you who walked in the door either carryout or dine In.

I appreciated every good review that helps us to keep going with confidence and passionate and appreciation.

I appreciated every bad review that helped us continue improve.

This 9 months I had met so many of you. I might not remember your name but I remember YOU. And we had talk about a lot of things we got to know each other. I love it I never thought I could talk so much years ago. Lol.
This was my dream when I was 18 years old when I was still in China. It is funny one customer heard that she said it is so nice that your dream came true. Yes. It has. I worked hard my family worked hard my employees worked hard. We all worked together to make this continue be your favorite Chinese restaurant. I know we are still not 100% satisfying everyone who walked in the door. Believe me we are trying everyday to make sure everything is great. But at the end we might made mistakes please be patient with us and give us another chance and please let us know if we didn’t do good anytime. If my employees didn’t give you a good response please ask for Ciyan the owner. We will make sure everything is right for everyone.

I’m so excited. I wanted to add “Chinese Restaurant “ to the sign because I found that a lot of residents don’t even know we are here. Maybe because no one knows what chop Suey is. Lol. Anyways. New sign. Yay 😊😊😊
It is not done yet. But we already started the process. This is our final decision for the sign. Everything is so pricey and I have to choose the cheapest option. But it is still a new sign and look nice and it won’t have black mold growing inside in the future due to the newer designs.

Good morning everyone, Happy Saturday.
Our next Buffet is scheduled- next Saturday 9/26 1pm -3pm. If you are interested and available give me a call 586-739-1511 to reserve your spot. When we called “Buffet” in Kwong Tung , you don’t have to worry about germs or wasting time on getting your food. We will get all the dishes on the menu separate in 5 course and we will serve them fresh and hot to you in samples size unless you say otherwise. It is the most fun and relaxing way to enjoy the delicious food.
