As 2025 draws to a close, we at Kako’s Cafecito are filled with gratitude for the wonderful experiences we’ve shared with you this year. From our first cups of cafecito to our last delicious treats, every moment has been a celebration of connection and community.

Being a mobile coffee stand allows us to bring joy to various neighborhoods, and we’ve loved being part of your special moments. This year, we’ve hosted events that have united friends and families, all while sharing our love for great coffee.

I’ve been hooked on Cuban pastelitos since I was a baby! My absolute favorite is the Guayaba y Queso but you truly can’t go wrong with any choice . When I started dreaming up the perfect recipe for Kako’s Cafecito to truly experience a Cuban ventanita, all I could picture was a café and a pastelito.

I wanted to learn how to make them, so I used the recipe my cousin wrote in her book . It’s taken some time to master, but so far, I’m really happy with the authentic flavor.
