Ferment Theatre

Ferment Theatre Text based, artist centred, story driven theatre addressing raw human experiences through muscular, visceral language.

Ferment Theatre was founded by Frances Loy, a British theatre director with a reputation for creating dark, brutal productions in alternative theatre spaces with her UK based company, Theatre Delicatessen (co-founded with Jessica Brewster, Roland Smith and Mauricio Preciado). Ferment Theatre takes inspiration from the productions created by Theatre Delicatessen, and creates work in the USA, using

a wholly collaborative approach to producing, fundraising and creative processes. Ferment Theatre strives to build a shared space relationship with its audiences, and challenges them to address raw human experiences via the medium of text based, artist centred, storydriven theatre. Ferment Theatre's debut production of TONIGHT/JUNGLE opens at the Here Arts Center in NYC in January 2016, in co-production with The Shop, NYC. A Los Angeles transfer of the production is planned for 2016.

$500 in 3 days WE CAN DO THIS!!!

01/11/2016

Taking a moment out to cry for and celebrate the genius and terrible loss of David Bowie, the original star man, an artist whose worth cannot be counted - too many of his lyrics can be quoted today with depth and meaning, perhaps none so much as "time may change me, but I can't change time"

Thankyou for everything you gave us, David. RIP
