Part two of our Beachwood Canyon series.
Beachwood Canyon has a broad range of interesting Architectural classics, as well as mid-century modern, eclectic, and a few eccentric follies, you can even find a castle inspired property with its own moat and draw bridge… I’ve been there in person.
Here we have a Beachwood Canyon classic and on Beachwood Canyon Drive, steps away from the the very quaint Beachwood Village, with it’s great mix of a very popular café/diner, classic market straight out of the 1950’s, with a great butcher’s department with fresh fish, poultry and meats, as well a great assortment of artisanal sausages including the delicious French/North African Merguez. Their rotisserie chicken is amazing. There’s also a great dry cleaner’s that does laundry and delivers as well.
The home is warm and generous with a great diverse layout, keeping it interesting for large families or gatherings. Great mix of bedrooms upstairs again, very generous with windows opening to capture the wonderful nature that surrounds this beautiful home.
The back garden is lush and meanders with stairs and paths, and includes a plunge pool perfect for relaxing and enjoying the home and its luscious surroundings. What’s especially appealing about Beachwood Canyon, is the endless walks and hikes all around the hills and into the Hollywood Reservoir, Hollywood sign, and the beginning of Griffith Griffith Park, which takes you into miles of wonderful trails.
The home reminds me very much of the East Coast, New England, and a perfect home to get into now, and enjoy for the holidays.
This property is extremely well priced and great value. Reach out to us for more information.
