The magic of hospitality lies in the gathering. Last weekend, I cooked up a feast for Kristle, her family, and the nurses—strangers turned friends over fresh potatoes and bubbling gravy. This entire experience reminded me of my Dad’s final days; even frail, he savoured every sip of those strawberry milkshakes. Meals weave us tight, especially when time’s short. The human race will never stop being hungry for connection. 🕊️
