Family patriarch Nicolaniello Buono came to America in 1967, from the Old Country of Italy, with a small suitcase filled with hopes and dreams. What first began as an Italian Deli/Market has since grown to three restaurants – one in San Pedro and two in Long Beach. Today he and his family share their love of Italy and its cuisine with you by offering a menu - rich with ingredients and recipes from
past generations - that lovingly reflects the Buono's family roots. The family owned business offers Italy's warmth, hospitality, and authentic cuisine in a casual atmosphere. restaurant even includes a sunny patio (wonderful under a starry moonlit sky, too!) where our customers dine al fresco in the courtyard. It truly has the look and feel of an Italian piazza (fountain, and all!). In addition to daily/nightly seating, guests like to reserve the courtyard for birthday and graduation parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, rehearsal dinners and weddings, reunions, and any special gathering.
