Guayaba Cuisine will remain closed today.
We wish we could say that the difficult circumstances affecting our community were behind us, but the continued events in our town are not something we can take lightly. We love our home, our town, and every person who calls Liberal home—simply because we are all human, and we believe in standing together during difficult times.
We sincerely apologize to our friends, neighbors, and wonderful customers for the inconvenience of being closed. We hope to return tomorrow with plenty of delicious food and, most importantly, a little comfort for our community.
My grandmother always believed that during times of crisis, a warm meal could help make things feel just a little better. That is something I have carried with me, and it is exactly what we hope to do.
Right now, our focus is on helping those who need it most. We would like to offer free meals to those directly affected and to the individuals who are out there helping others without asking for anything in return.
To everyone who continues to show up, help, care, and support others during this difficult time—thank you. You are setting an incredible example for our community.
Let’s continue to take care of one another, show compassion, and remember that we are stronger when we stand together. ❤️

Guayaba Cuisine permanecerá cerrado el día de hoy.
Desearíamos poder decir que las circunstancias difíciles que está viviendo nuestra comunidad ya quedaron atrás, pero los acontecimientos que continúan afectando a nuestra ciudad no son algo que podamos tomar a la ligera. Amamos nuestro hogar, nuestra ciudad y a cada persona que llama a Liberal su hogar, simplemente porque todos somos seres humanos y creemos en estar unidos durante los momentos difíciles.
Nos disculpamos sinceramente con nuestros amigos, vecinos y queridos clientes por el inconveniente de permanecer cerrados. Esperamos poder regresar mañana con mucha comida deliciosa y, sobre todo, con un poquito de consuelo para nuestra comunidad.
Mi abuela siempre creyó que, durante los momentos de crisis, una comida preparada con amor podía hacer que las cosas se sintieran un poquito mejor. Es algo que llevo conmigo y que ahora queremos compartir con nuestra comunidad.
En este momento, nuestro enfoque está en ayudar a quienes más lo necesitan. Queremos ofrecer comida gratis a las personas directamente afectadas y a quienes están ayudando a los demás sin pedir nada a cambio.
A todos aquellos que continúan ayudando, cuidando, apoyando y estando presentes durante estos momentos tan difíciles: gracias. Ustedes están dando un gran ejemplo a nuestra comunidad.
Sigamos cuidándonos unos a otros, mostrando compasión y recordando que somos más fuertes cuando permanecemos unidos. ❤️
