Boston’s Way Family — we’re in a jam and could use you.*
This week knocked us flat. Our truck’s down, probably the ECM, and we found out the hard way that the air brakes weren’t released right. That tore up the rear brakes, stripped a driveshaft bolt, and we were 30 miles down the highway before someone finally told the guy how to air up the system. Thank God the truck didn’t burn up.
Between that, a $500 tow, diesel + generator fuel, two new wheel bearings for a (F-250), brakes all around on the Mustang, filters, oil change, front break (f250) all these unexpected bills, then your normal living bills, we overstocked food for a festival we can’t make now… we’re looking at thousands just to get rolling again.
And the food truck still isn’t running.
We’re financially tapped. And honestly? We’re done with trucks. Maintenance is endless and when they break, you’re dead in the water. Our goal now is to sell what we can and put it toward a down payment on a food trailer so we can keep serving you without the breakdowns.
*Here’s where we need you:*
We’ve got a truck fully loaded with food — lobster rolls, sandwiches, fries, cod fillets, our full menu, We’re thinking of doing a *Neighborhood Food Truck Night right here at home* to move it and get back on our feet. We do these all the time for other neighborhoods, just never our own.
If you’d come out, eat, and support us, it would mean the world. Every plate sold gets us closer to a fresh start with a trailer.
If you can’t make it but still want to help, we won’t turn it down:
*Cash App: $BostonsWay01
*Venmo: Robert-Levasseur-1
We hate asking. We’re always the ones helping. But right now we need our community. If you know us, you know we’ll pay it forward tenfold.
*Drop a comment if you’d come to a neighborhood night so we can pick a date. Thank you for riding with Boston’s Way.
