No cinnamon rolls will be made today, it’s Pizzelle making day! An Italian tradition in my family for generations! They take forever to make cause you can only make two at a time but so worth it. I’ll post pics later. I’m prepped and ready but going to wait a little while before I start mixing. This batter/dough pushes my kitchen aid mixer to the max, gets a little hot! Frankford Elementary, get ready for some tomorrow at school!

Just to be clear, neither one of us are quitting our day jobs certainly not anytime soon. And we are NOT trying to compete with the cinnamon roll guy at the fair and who visits a few times a year. Actually, they were really our inspiration to choose cinnamon rolls as the food we sell. This was an idea that we have talked about over the years. We love food, meeting new people and love to travel and Bills dream has always been to be able to cook for people. We want to be affordable, not looking for a get rich scheme. We have learned life is too short and you really do never know what tomorrow may bring, tomorrow is not promised to anyone. God leads the way and we are being pulled this way, it’s now or never. Everyone needs God in their lives! We might fail, but maybe along the way we can have some positive impact on many peoples lives, kids and adults!

Monday was a baking day, I look forward to having the equipment large enough to make these cinnamon rolls because I'm pushing my old kitchenmaid mixer to the max! LOL I learned in this last batch that I cannot trust my Alexa to correctly set my timers. UGH! I'm going to start on a batch again here shortly after a trip to dreaded Walmart. here's some pics from Monday. Let the experimenting continue for the perfect cinnamon roll.
