Hello everyone! 🖤✨

I wanted to take a moment to properly introduce myself and share a little about the heart behind Moss & Meringue.

My name is Kayla, and I'm the baker, creator, and dreamer behind every loaf of bread, cinnamon roll, jar of jam, and sweet treat that comes out of my kitchen. What started as a love for baking has grown into something so much bigger. A dream, a purpose, and hopefully one day, a place where people can gather, connect, and feel at home.

Moss & Meringue was created from my love of wholesome food, cozy spaces, and sharing comfort with others. Every recipe I make is crafted with care because food has always been one of the ways I show love.

My ultimate goal is to open a Moss & Meringue café. A warm, welcoming place where you can enjoy fresh breads, pastries, homemade jams, and yes, actual meals too! ☕🍞✨ A place filled with good food, kindness, and community.

But I want it to be more than just a café.

I want Moss & Meringue to become a place that gives back. Supporting veterans, helping those experiencing homelessness, and raising awareness and donations for Alzheimer's disease are causes that are deeply personal to me. Each of these has touched my life in one way or another, and I hope that as this little business grows, it can help make a difference in the lives of others as well.

Right now, every order, every share, every kind word, and every market visit helps move me one step closer to that dream. Thank you for being here and supporting Moss & Meringue. I am so grateful for every single one of you.

Today’s bake included a beautiful glazed pound cake, a pan of warm cinnamon rolls loaded with icing, and a fresh Italian Herb & Cheese bread baked golden and topped with melty cheese.
There is something so magical about seeing simple ingredients become something that brings comfort to someone's table. Every loaf, roll, and cake is made from scratch in my little fae kitchen with care, patience, and a whole lot of love.

Hello friends!
As Moss & Meringue continues to grow, I’m looking to partner with local stores, shops, cafés, markets, gift shops, and other small businesses that may want to carry my homemade products.
I currently offer a variety of fresh baked goods and preserves, including:
- Artisan breads and sandwich loaves
- Focaccia breads
- Cinnamon rolls
- Cookies and other baked treats
- Homemade jams and preserves
- Seasonal specialties and more
I’m interested in creating a mutually beneficial arrangement with a local business that wants to offer handmade, locally made products to their customers.

🌿 Moss & Meringue – Market Update 🌿

I thought I'd let everyone know that unfortunately, I am unable to attend the Blakely Market on this coming Saturday.

First off, I managed to hurt myself this week through my own clumsiness (one of my many talents apparently 😂). While I will be okay, this has certainly made getting ready for market even harder than it normally would be.

Secondly, due to the unpredictable nature of the weather (as it's doing right now at the time of writing), I wasn't willing to risk the quality of my products, or potentially incur a huge loss of my fresh produce due to poor conditions at the market.

I want nothing but the very best for all my customers, which is why I feel this is the best course of action.

While I hate having to miss out on attending the market, I understand that you will all be disappointed.

However, the great news is that Moss & Meringue is ALWAYS available for order requests! 💔 If you have been longing for some bread, cinnamon rolls, cakes, cookies, jams, or any other of my delicious treats, I will be more than happy to bake something for you.
