Due to the extreme temps that are forecast for our area over the weekend, we have decided to not open Saturday and Sunday (8/15 and 8/16).

It isn’t something we WANT to do but I can’t even begin to explain how brutally hot it has been inside that trailer this week. I just can’t do that to the girls that help us and it has taken a toll on Lance and me, too. We all need the break.

We appreciate you all so much! We will give it a try again next week. Hopefully- more manageable temps are coming soon.

Both trucks have run so we have everything again. 🙂

Remember- fish plates are now 3 filets (5-7 ounces each). The fish plates come with hushpuppies and your choice of two: fries, tots, onion rings, okra, potato salad, slaw, or a side salad. If you want an appetizer as a side on the plates, there will be a $2 up charge.

And we still have the okra and corn nuggets that somehow got left off the menu. Both of those are $4/order. We also have cheese curds instead of Cheesesticks.

We open at 3!

This heat is no joke. As I’ve said before- it’s about 20° warmer inside that trailer than it is outside. Be patient with us. We have to take breaks often to be able to stay in there. As the temps continue to rise this week- there may be times that we simply cannot stay in there. We will keep you posted.

We have recuperated (sort of) from last night and are ready to start again at 3pm.

We are out of bologna and hotdogs until next Thursday when the trucks run. We should have everything else but there are a couple of items that we are running low on. We hope we can make it through the night with what we have.

We have several new people that have “discovered” the Delta Bayou and are hooked. If you haven’t tried it yet- maybe it’s time. This is a catfish sandwich with cheese, a remoulade slaw, onion, and remoulade sauce. The remoulade gives it a little kick and adds so much flavor. It’s saucy, crispy catfish… on a bun. Yum! 😋

If fried food just isn’t your thing in this heat- you can always try one of the salads. We have a Chef salad, fried or grilled chicken salads, what we call the Big Mac salad and of course, just a simple side salad.

Happy Thursday! We got deliveries this morning so we have ALL the things. Boudin egg rolls, mac bites, catfish, burgers, loaded fries… and more!!

It’s Wednesday so we are back! We open at 3pm and will take orders until 8:30pm.

We have everything but boudin egg rolls. Those will come in tomorrow. Remember- we have cheese curds now instead of cheese sticks. And- we are now serving the 5-7 ounce catfish filets instead of the 3-5 ounce.
