Why are we closed Saturday? So glad you asked. 🤣🤣. I am going to the Bahamas. For 7 glorious days, I’ll be on a cruise ship without care in the world. Someone else will be doing the cooking.

But that also means we will be closed all next week, too. We will reopen on Wednesday 10/7.

But… we are here this week so come see us at 931 Hwy 72 in Lamar. Call or text orders to 662-306-0004.

It’s one day closer to the weekend!!! Happy Thursday!
We open at 3pm. Come by 931 Hwy 72 in Lamar. Call or text orders to 662-306-0004.

My newest obsession is a single patty cheeseburger with white cheese, bacon, bbq sauce and grilled onions. It may be the best burger I’ve ever eaten. lol. Come try one today for $9.50.

And- we’ve had several people ask if they have to get the 3 piece catfish plate or if they can get more (or less) fish. You can order as many pieces as you want. They are $3 each. But if you call or text for just a “fish plate”- you will get 3 filets, 3 hushpuppies, fries, and slaw.

Don’t forget about the apple pie bites for $5 and the 4 ounce vanilla ice cream cups for $2. 😋

Happy Wednesday! It’s another hot one today. Hopefully we will get some better temps soon. We open at 3pm and will take ...

Happy Friday! We will open at 3 and we are paying attention to the weather tonight. Remember- if the winds pick up, we have to leave the trailer.

The power surges have killed one of our freezers so we will likely run out of some things this weekend. 😐😩

But- come see us at 931 Hwy 72 in Lamar. Call or text orders to 662-306-0004.

We need to hire some more help at The Roost. Our normal crew is still there but they are needing to take some time off. When that happens- we have to close because Lance and I can’t run it by ourselves.

If you are interested in working the fryers, prep, or the grill- send me (Jennifer) a message at 662-544-7955.

We are open Wednesdays thru Saturday from
3-8:30. It would be great for someone that gets out of school early or someone that just needs a little extra money.
