Shoutout the Meg from the Lakeside Administration!

Andrew frantically reached out to her on Saturday evening and she helped facilitate a cleaning crew to be at Bluebird early this week!

Some unfortunate news, we may not be able to open in time for Memorial Day weekend. 😢

Some construction was done around Bluebird this spring. Cement work, among other things. While we’re glad our area of Lakeside is getting the attention it needs, the proper precautions for minimizing dust and debris weren’t taken.

Our entire restaurant is covered with construction dust. We’re going to need to wipe down every surface, wash every single item we have in the space.

An “attempt” to clean the floors was made by someone, but the ENTIRE space needs a professional deep clean.

We’re going to work as quickly as we can to try to get everything cleaned for Memorial Day weekend but this is going to be quite the unexpected project.

Andrew and Rachel will be accepting hugs as motivation (and to help keep us sane as we try to clean and prep for the start of the season).
