With the cooler weather coming next week, our thoughts turn to hearty comfort foods: rich stews and soups for example. One classic Thai comfort food is Panang curry. This is a rich, creamy coconut crème-based stew that is very herb-forward in flavor, the most common proteins for this are chicken, pork and beef, although tofu works quite nicely also due to the potent flavors of the other ingredients. Hi everybody! The inside garden is coming along as we get all the tropical fruits, herbs, and spices settled in for the winter. The dining room is looking a bit more jungly. Good morning! Please provide your thoughts on what to do with the plants this Winter. One option is to bring them into the dining room and set up grow lights (midnight to 11 am) to keep them happy through the darker months. A good bit of work, but feasible. The other is to create a Winter cover over the patio as we did at home, creating a Winter “garden room” for dining, and for seating guests with pets. A bit more work and expense, but perhaps feasible also. Question? How likely are you to want to sit in the garden room for lunch or dinner?
