We will be closing shop an hour early to restock and can’t wait to see you all on Saturday at the Summer Sip and Shop at Scotty’s Bar back here in Luxemburg!

🌎🗺️World Cup Drink Tour⚽️🏟️

The World Cup is in full swing! We are continuing our drinks inspired by countries playing in the World Cup!

This weeks countries are:
Norway🇳🇴 and Senegal 🇸🇳

Norway: Cardamom Kringle Latte
Cardamom and Vanilla

Inspired by what the norwegians refer to as the “queen of spices”. Cardamom has a floral taste to it and paired with espresso it brings a very natural earthy flavor. 🇳🇴

Fun fact: The Vikings are commonly credited with bringing cardamom home to Scandinavia after encountering it in Constantinople towards the end of the Viking era in the early 11th century.

Senegal 🇸🇳: Bissap Blitz Lotus
Hibiscus, Elderberry, Cherry

Inspired by the Bissap (Hibiscus) drink commonly found in Senegal. Bissap is more than just a drink, it is a staple of hospitality and served everyday within the homes and gatherings 🇸🇳

Fun fact: Bissap (Hibiscus Tea) is not only refreshing but also packed with nutrients. Rich in Vitamin C and antioxidants. Studies have shown it helps reduce blood pressure. Also it contains properties known to aid in digestion and reduce stress.

(btw this is my favorite lotus EVER!!!)

These drinks will only be around for 1 week before the next countries drinks get introduced! So we encourage you stop out and try a flavor inspired by each country🗺️

🌎🗺️World Cup Drink Tour⚽️🏟️

The World Cup starts TOMORROW! And to kick things off we are doing a tour around the world of drinks inspired by countries playing in the World Cup!

This weeks countries are:
The Netherlands 🇳🇱 and Mexico 🇲🇽

The Netherlands: Stroopwafel Latte

Inspired by the classic Dutch treat this latte is made of brown sugar cinnamon and salted caramel- topped with a Stroopwafel 🇳🇱

Fun fact: Stroopwafel translates to “syrup waffle” in english! Stroopwafel waffles were made from left over bread and dough before they became more widely popular and became a delicious well known treat to the Dutch!

Mexico 🇲🇽: Iced Horchata Latte

Inspired by the Mexican agua fresca made with mainly rice, cinnamon, and sugar. This latte is made of cinnamon, white chocolate and vanilla- topped with a dulce de leche cold foam and cinnamon!🇲🇽

Fun fact: Horchata has a very long history coming from Europe and Africa. Usually made with nuts. Tiger nuts were not widely available in the “new world” so they began to make it with long grain white rice to make the horchata we commonly see today!
